IANCAS Awards
IANCAS has instituted several awards to encourage scientists/researchers actively pursuing activities in the discipline of Radiochemistry and applications of radioisotopes.
Dr. M.V. Ramaniah Memorial Award
Dr. M.V. Ramaniah Memorial Award is given to an outstanding radiochemist for significant contributions and lifetime achievements in the field of nuclear and radiochemistry. The award, introduced in 1999, carries a medal, citation and Rs.25,000/- cash. A panel, under the chairmanship of President, IANCAS nominates the name of the recipient every year.
Dr Tarun Datta Memorial Award
Dr Tarun Datta Memorial Award is given to a young scientist (below 45 years of age on the 31st Dec of the calendar year of the award ) for excellence in research in the field of nuclear and radiochemistry, and applications of radioisotopes. This award was instituted in 1997 and carries a medal, citation and Rs.15,000/- cash.

Prof. H.J. Arnikar Best Thesis Award
IANCAS has introduced (in 2001) an annual award for the best Ph.D. theses of the year in Nuclear and radiochemistry, applications of radioisotopes and allied sciences as Prof. H. J. Arnikar Best Thesis Award. There is no age limit and all the candidates having received their Ph. D. degree during the two years preceding the calendar year of the award are eligible. This award carries a medal, citation and Rs.10,000/- in cash.

Prof. B.C. Haldar Memorial Award
IANCAS gives 5 Best Paper Awards at the biennial Nuclear and Radiochemistry Symposia (NUCAR) named after Prof. B.C. Haldar. The Award carries cash prize and merit certificates, and given to the young research scholars after evaluating their papers.
Prof. B.M. Shukla Memorial Award
Additionally, IANCAS also gives 5 Best Paper Awards at the biennial Nuclear and Radiochemistry Symposia (NUCAR) named after Prof. B.M. Shukla. The Award carries cash prize and merit certificates, and given to the young research scholars after evaluating their presentations.
